When I was talking to the a good friend who lives in my building, she told me flat out that the other girls on her floor really don’t like me. I felt hurt—genuinely sad! So I asked her why they don’t like me. She said I do things that make them (and even her) mad, like say, “Good girl.” I smiled and said, “Well, that’s alright, I like saying that. What else?” She explained that these girls who don’t like me are used to having guys fawn all over them and kiss their asses, but I don’t even let them interrupt me when I’m speaking.
I fucking rejoiced. I am so truly loved. Do you know what this means? Read that last sentence again:
“these girls who don’t like me are used to having guys fawn all over them and kiss their asses, but I don’t even let them interrupt me when I’m speaking.”
I consider it a huge honor to be “disliked” for having self respect. I didn’t used to love myself enough, but I’ve been working on it lately, and this is the first big signpost that I’ve made progress. Ahhh.

Ahh yes, i know of what you speak.
I’ve found in the past that very same thing happening. I’ll qualify a girl or shit test her (first!) and she gets all offended.
At first i found it hard.
Then i got into it.
Then i scaled it back.
Now, after reading your post, i want to bring it back in full force.
I believe what happens here is that girls are SO USED to guys being submissive, when you don’t pass the test they get confused. It destroys their ‘powerful, adoring’ reality, and it annoys them. Why? Because you’ve inserted a contradictory element into their reality which induces self doubt as to the congruency of their belief system.
So where to from here…
I like to smile and send a girl love at first, to open her up. Then, i’ll shit test her. It’s a fine balance. My energy is quite powerful, i must be careful with it. A widdle bit here and there is the key. Calibration is the word of the day!
